My catchphrase: We need: A creative presence on the right to balance out the left, a big, strong, fast centerback and a World Clbutt or near, GK. I want to add a fourth charecteristic that the team needs overall - warriors. People that will scrap and play 100% always.
I'm buttuming with Carson on board though, we're not really going to be going for a GK. So that leaves the first two. I'd make my top two targets Ledley King and SWP. Overpay if we have to. If we can get those two, then we can get two or three 'experiments' provided that they are cheap.
I have a feeling that most of the academy kids will stay.

Damn, looking at that we are hurting more than I thought. I included the two new preferred signings (I'm buttuming Baros, Hamman, Kewell and Gerrard are gone) and the squad STILL looks thin.
Hopefully, the Academy kids come through, you never know - Raven looked good that one game in the carling cup, and Warnock and Mellor are at least battlers if not 'good enough' yet (or ever?). Anyone have anything to say about Welsh, Potter, Whitbread and Ostenboor?
