On the way to walmart to get yet another air conditioning unit, this time for the dining room, i accidentally went through a red light. It was pretty bad actually, it had just started to lash down and the lightning show was well under way when i hopped into the car, went down to the first set of lights and the missus says "look up at the glow from the lightning", of course soft twat hears "look up and go.......from the lightning", on "go" i of course went straight through the red light, i knew i had f***ed up before i got halfway through the junction, i knew i had f***ed up badly when i got to halfway through the junction and spotted the city cop car sat in the laundromat carpark on the opposite side of the junction.
So i made my mistake, it is starting to rain and i think quick and act quick. I pull into the carpark and turn off the engine, the cop pulls alongside my car and says "do you know what you just done sir", i reply "i can't believe what i just done officer, my wife said something about the sky and i thought she said *go*"........the officer replies "i had to ask myself if i'd just seen what i did see, i couldn't believe it either", i replied "i'm sorry officer" and then rolled my eyes in disbelief...... the officer then says "you have a good evening" and then he backs out and disappears.
I swear if i hadn't of stopped he would of had to get soaked after coming after me and stopping me, thank f*** for frigging storms.
