As we welcome Daniel Agger to Anfield, here are ten facts you may or may not know about Rafa's latest signing.
# Daniel Agger was born in Denmark on 12th November 1984.
# Daniel is the fifth Dane to sign for Liverpool following Jan Molby, Torben Piechnik, Michael Stensgaard and Jorgen Nielsen.
# Agger is a Danish international and impressed when he marked Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney during Denmark's 4-1 win over England in August 2005.
# He has four caps and scored one goal for Denmark.
# Agger made his international debut on June 2nd 2005 against Finland when he marked former Red Jari Litmanen. Sami Hyypia also played.
# He started his career in Demark with Rosenhoj before moving to Brondby.
# Agger made his Brondby debut at the age of 19 in a league match against OB Odense.
# While his best position is centre half, Agger has a sweet left foot and can also play left back.
