ere have a listen to this one then:
george best is lying in hospital when the nurse approaches him
"george" she said "ive got some good news and some bad news"
Row over 'Asbo cityPEOPLE are six times more likely to receive an Anti-Social Behaviour Order in *Manchester* than Merseyside, claims a new campaign...
"give me the bad news first" replied george
"ok you have one hour to live"
"oh my god!" gasped george "what can be the good news then"
"its happy hour downstairs" sez she!
ROTFL!!!
PS have a wee think about your sermon for a minute Nash. Should we "show some respect" (whatever that means) to "everybody" "all over the world" who's dying at this moment in time, of any and all illnesses, or just the famous, well-heeled variety whose dying makes it to the front pages? Would you prefer it if these affronts to human decency were eliminated from human discourse altogether, so that we could all share one big happy world where the decent and law-abiding majority get to dictate what kinds of wrongdoing are permissible??? Is it just the "clbuttless" kind you're uncomfortable with? Would you be more comfortable if we "showed a bit of clbutt" and one after the other filed past the dying man wailing and beating our breasts in sorrow?? -- "Truth's a dog must to kennel; he must be whipped out when the Lady Brach may stand by the fire and stink" -- The Fool
