I was ashamed of Garcia today. He just gives possession away too much, and his pbutting is diabolical. Cisse is just as bad. I have no idea why Rafa brought him on. He is useless and when he is one on one with a defender, he panicks and f***s up. We really don't need that in a striker.
If I were Benitez, I would've bought Sissoko on for Garcia, and put Gerrard in Garcia's position, and left it at that.
Also, we need Alonso to push up more and make more runs. Okay, so he distributes the ball out to our wingers from the back and also helps break up play, but he hardly moves from that position. We need him to be more creative up the field, as we are struggling with goals this season. Remember his goal against Arsenal last season? That's what we need him to do. He is one of the most talented midfielders in the country, so we need to utilize him more, and let Sissoko or Hamann stay at the back.
Don't really have any other complaints. Thought Crouch player well, but was a bit disappointed that we kept booting balls up to him and then gave him no support.
Thought Pongolle played really well though. Would have him on the picth over Cisse any day!
