Reds won't practice pens

PMSL. I love that one best of all. It's almost as if Sky Sports wants morons like Bernie to think that the 'virtual replay' wasn't scripted by a human being but instead gathered from some form of objective empirical data (that means neutral Bernie, in case you're brain was starting to smoke... Presuming you've got one.) LOL.
Sky's replay crap uses multiple camera angles and estimated distance of the ball from the pitch to discern the position of the ball in relation to several cameras. It's crap, totally. The error metric (which is large) is guesstimated by the person creating the virtual replay from the data. Of course, in order to draw attention and customers to Sky Sports, they obviously toyed with the error metric until it was very close. The real error metric is, I butture you, much larger. The tangential math involved is not greater than algebra and some trigonometry and I can explain it to you if you wish although I suspect I would be wasting my time on a dolt like yourself.
Anyone know the maximum focal length and resolution of the cameras in use? Just the kind of camera could help. Hand or computer controlled (affects image stabilization and to some extent photometric normalization)?
I'll happily tear apart Sky's bullpoo math.
