Benitez has lots to prove. 1388Acording to some papers Kewell was flying in training & doing really well since he recoverd from injury before the cup final. Rafa has nothing to prove. We...
reason midfield of to Pools side form but Liverpool he minutes less of the your half
Benitez has lots to prove. 1387still to us Fair points, but was I alone in being anxious about the inevitability of the outcome of the first 45? There were plenty of scares with Gerrard gone missing...
Thank god for a constructive post at last Ren. I take your points, but still feel that he should have acted earlier, particularly as it was obvious to us all that Kaka was doing whatever he liked. I also cannot give him much credit for changes virtualy forced on him by the score .
I knew that this post would not be very popular here....lol...like a bone to a dog,,,,because fans are not noted for their objectivity, but it seems I am not alone in my opinions. I have just been watching Hill on Sunday on Sky with a few football pundits enjoying reliving the game and making their case for Pools late inclusion. They are far more interesting to listen to than read. Seems the concensus amongst the reporters after the game was, in their words," Liverpool won the game despite the manager ,not because of him" They were also critical of the set up of the side and said the whole dressing room was silent and amazed at the announcement of Kewell's name on the sheet.
This does not make them, or me, correct, its all opinion, but seems it is a view held by a few pros which will come as a surprise to some of those knee jerk responders above to whom the score always states the obvious.
Your reference to PSV is interesting because I had hoped that Benetez would have got some insight from that game. Seems he didn't?
He was very lucky...but , what the hell. Some game eh?
Regards.
