True, but what a welcome relief after that boring Arsenal display last year. It was a great final, particularly for the neutrals, great drama ,but certainly not great football. The result will once again hide questions which few will be in the mood to ask right now.

W Ham certainly enjoyed some luck with their goals but they also exposed that flat defence and got behind them too easily and could have put the game out of sight. But the biggest question is the one you ask.

Why can't Bunter get his team on the pitch for important finals, raring to go, up for it and playing football from the start. Why the lethargy? The result will already have fans singing his praises after the drought years, but the truth is, just as in the CL final last year, he was saved by good fortune and a couple of strokes of genius from his captain. but we all know how hit and miss such goals can be.
