The hammers first 2 were a shade lucky, but they were making chances, but the point is, how the hell did Pool get themselves into this position of being 2 behind? You don't have to be a genius to make changes when 2 goals down.....in fact, it would be silly not to.
It was the repeat of that CL final start which put them within 3 mins of losing a final they should win. Caution is understandable, but you still have to match the competitiveness of the other side.
I have seen quite a few Pool sides over the past 50 years which were good enough to ease themselves into a game.....everything under control....pick up the pace and get the required one or two needed to win. Their confidence was well based.
This lot are not as good, but seem to think they can still control without too much effort. It's not a good tactic in finals.
