Nope, they state that England have four teams in the Champions League.
Arrogance? Are they suggesting we lost deliberately to the likes of those sides?
They keep claiming that they knew at the start of the season that a place in the top 4 guarnateed a place in the Champions League. According to the FA themselves, this is why the FA chose to nominate them.
However, every side in the Champions League also played that competition with the understanding that winning it would allow them to qualify for it the following season, as has happened every single year since the competition began. The only exception was Marseille, who were banned from Europe at the time.
Including the Everton management, fans and players?
David Moyes believed it would have been a 'disgrace' if they'd not been allowed in the champions league due to Liverpool being nomintated by the FA. Many fans held the same view, based on the fact that you buttumed 4th place was a 100% guarantee of earning a place in the competition.
If, as this guy says, everyone knew the rules, then they'd have accepted any decision by the FA to allow Liverpool to take up the 4th place. There'd have been no need to get angry and complain about the decision because they'd have known the rules from the start of the season. So why would it have been a disgrace?
Why would they have allowed to be frustrated at the decision if it'd been in our favour, but we're not allowed by complain, despite having at least as strong a case to be there next season as them?
As it stands at the moment, we're the ones who've lost out due to the FA's decision.
And some bluepooes are *still* moaning about things!
