Hmmm. The fact that Liverpool had their country protection removed meant that the only team that could be potentially get shafted was Everton. We have worked all season to get in the CL qualifiers and because of Liverpool's 'back door entry' into this years competition we could end up playing our neighbours, and European Champions remember, instead of an easier tie. I think David Moyes was dead f***ing right to be concerned and to bring this situation up.
To be honest I think that anyone who wanted Liverpool in the qualifiers needs to have a word with themselves. Bravado is one thing but plain stupidity is another. Why wouldanyonewant to play the best team in the competition first? Liverpool were the best team in that draw the other day, that isn't opinion that is fact. If you want the best for Everton you don't want us to meet Liverpool in the qualifier it is as simple as that.
