RED DEVIL I disagree. We did have very few injuries, but I don't see you mentioning such things when discussing Utd's treble winning season, where your luck in the injury department was even better, nor do I see you talking about Liverpool's very bad injuries last season. When Rafa made changes (8 against West Ham after the FA cup semi), we didn't have any problems, indicating our squad is getting stronger. Outside midfielders are not a problem. Kewell is getting back to his best, we've bought one of the best wingers in the Spanish league in Gonzales, plus Zenden will be back from injury. In all likelihood, Rafa will buy a new right winger, which will allow Gerrard to go back to his best position. Our *2nd* best defender is getting on, but won't be too old next season. We also have one of the most promising young centre backs in Europe, and probably another on his way. Finally, "no strikers" but we still scored over 100 goals this season. Add with all this that our manager, unlike the management of the top 2 clubs, does not need to spend 30 million pounds to get a player that will work for him, and I'm very optimistic.
