Cyncial POV on Fowler

I don't agree(with this quote) really but i can see where he's coming from as the times article i've read is basically saying that the board encouraged benitez to look at Fowler. I can't see Rafa placating anyone tbh and at worst it's a gamble for a few months, bigger risks have been taken in the game and turned into success.

As long as RF stays fit or even improves his fitness he will score goals, does anyone doubt that?

I can't see him missing the number of chances that morientes, crouch and cisse have spurned so it COULD be a good bit of business, he has 4 months or so to prove his worth, hopefully this will be the case, i think he'll fit in well with the system.

The other question is surely, if Robbie is IN, who is OUT? In club terms not starting 11.

Anyway, there are a few small quotes in the times from various mesage boards on the net etc, the gist of one is

"this is papering over the cracks that the board-management team have failed in yet another transfer window, fowler is history and is finished, not even god enough for the reserves, where is the high quality right winger?"
