At last New Labour are no more. This man will be a great Prime Minister.
David Davis today urged all sections of the Conservative Party to unite and walk tall - to "stop apologising and get on with the job." Speaking from the platform at the Conservative Party conference, David said, "the only way to win the next election is by being united", quoting Ronald Reagan's eleventh commandment - "Thou shalt never speak ill of a fellow conservative." David told the conference, "I'm proud to be a Conservative, proud of our history, proud of what we achieved for our country" and reminded them that he wasn't born a Conservative. "I chose to be a Conservative," David said, "because I came to realise something that every Conservative knows: Labour always ends up letting people down. And they let down the poorest and weakest in society most of all." He said it was necessary to change how the Conservative Party works, spelling out his mission for the Party to "reach parts of Britain that we haven't reached for far too long." David told the Conservative Party of his "vision of optimism and hope" and asked members to demonstrate that they want power for a purpose - "to change Britain and improve people's lives." -- Every single SU and FCUM member is now an enemy of Manchester United, and the Conservative Party. Do what must be done. Do not hesitate. Show no mercy.
