But consistent with Christ's words to the Apostles in John 16:

Ere Pumparse ... 531
How on earth is the reasoning just as daft? The key to any act, from a moral point of view, is intention or will. Since a woman does not have voluntary control...

"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth."

Elsewhere, in Mark 11, he told his Apostles not to worry beforehand about what they were to say, but to say "whatever **is given you at that time,** for it is not you who speak but the Holy Spirit."

As I've already said, it is a fallacy, proven by Scripture itself, that Scripture contains the message of Christ in its entirety. Christ himself promised the Spirit as Helper and Teacher to guide the Church on questions of doctrine and morality, **as they arose.**

And thus it is we can draw a number of conclusions, even from Scripture, about the limits to which Scripture alone contains the "deposit of faith"

1. Just before his rest Christ says that he has not yet said everything he wanted to say to the Apostles. 2. He will send the Spirit after his rest to add to expand on what has been left unsaid 3. He gives them a guarantee of inerrancy in what they say, because indeed it is not they who say it but the same Spirit who inspired the writers of the New Testament. -- + His Holiness Pope Pompous XVIII
