When I first subscribed a couple of seasons ago, the audio used to get totally out of sync with the video within 5 minutes. Last year some greedy media type managed to prevent us seeing any pictures (except those of the odd guy peeing down a rolled up Echo in the stands).
It's okay for audio commentary, especially as Steve Hunter will tell you when we are playing crap and not try to talk around it. Some of the co-commentators shouldn't be allowed near a mic....no names!
Considering many of us now measure our internet download speeds in Megabytes, I find it incredible that a subscription service like this recognises nothing faster than 450kilobits-s!
Today's game proved that they still suck at providing decent live video...In fact, I'd say it is worse than 2 years ago.
However, seeing as Liverpool are popular in Asia, those nice Asian TV companies stream many of our games live. Even the 3pm kick offs that don't get shown legally in the UK. You can watch with a P2P type client called PPLive......see Google for all the info. (Coolstreaming was last years flavour, but some legal types are trying to kill it off).
That's the way I'm going this coming season. :-)
