Champions LeagueOn Wed, 07 Dec 2005 08:13:26 +0000, Lescor It was pretty pathetic last night. Get the result at all costs? Nothing but...
I was listening to The Legends show on Century earlier tonight. Some caller described Essien as a malicious player, I think Gary Owen went to his defence before Alan Kennedy disagreed and said the player "knew what he was doing". Kennedy said, (Something on the lines of) Essien is lucky as there is not the same hard players playing as in his (Kennedy's) day. He said Essien would definitely be a target for the hard-cases and spite and should take heed.
When do they play Blackburn? LOL..
This led me to worrying about his performance tonight. I wasn't disappointed was I? 1 yellow-card worthy tackle followed by a certain red (If that blind cunt had seen it!) but no cards shown. The Hamman buttault should be looked at by UEFA'a disciplinary committee. No cards shown allowed a further buttault as that's the only way to describe this players motive, he wants to take players out to weaken teams imho!
Essien thinks the English game is a soft touch does he? He thinks he can try and break legs and get away with it does he? LOL! If I was Maureen I'd start looking for his long-term replacement now as I feel soon he will be sidelined for a while ;-)
