i'm not sure i entirely agree, however....
no one is. you might expect, chelsea and manure to be there, look at arsenal. what I'm saying is look at the season, LFC went a 3rd of it unbeaten(& still are on this run as of today) a decent run by anyone's standards. So i think that's proof enough to stab a decent guess at 1-) how good LFC are. and 2-) where they will finish.
So i agree in the sense that no one is automatically "good enough to finish comfortably in the top 4" cos you jus don't know what the season will throw at you. There is the benefit of form etc and i'll bet the top 4 teams forecast for this season were CFC, Arse, ManU, LFC.
Moyes "We are being victimisedI hope they charge him for these comments. And then I hope he makes comments about being charged for them. And then I hope they charge him again...... and...
what planet do you live on? no it wouldn't be THE biggest shock in football but it would have 'effin great alarm bells ringing in benitez head, not to mention the papers, media etc etc. Souness has just been sacked with more a similar "stat" being bandied about as the final judgement. One point from six games.
all very academic, those teams are at least as likely as LFC to dip in form given the basis of your argument. imo.
i can only point to the unbeaten run LFC are currently on, that should be evidence enough.
well yes i agree in the sense that CFC are at least trying to forget about comfortably winning the league, there should be no respite. what are the current odds and who are the favourites with the bookies for the top 4 places? and why?
that's my point mate, we're 20+ games into the season. the shock will be if LFC finish outside the top 4. why? Form. Arsenals has been dodgy and so it's looking for a CL place for them. --
