The Usual Vermin
The pooe could not keep quite for 20 seconds? These are the same cretins who confidently proclaim they...

city weren't in this game, they were bossed out of it. we had them down to one chance in the first 45mins, a rather flat game in patches, towards the end of the first half it really picked up. whilst not creating more than 3 or 4 chances in the first half it looked like another away game where we would have difficulty scoring having dominated the play. gerrard narrowly missed with an across the box shot trying to place the ball wide of James was our best first half attempt (and that failed to hit the target anyway)

Nemanja Vidic
Reds in £4.5m swoop for Serb Nov 25 2005 EXCLUSIVE by Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo LIVERPOOL...

some of you will be thrilled to know that Kewell had an impact when he came on and it wasn't too much longer than Riise netted a typical thunderous shot, kewell was fairly lively and fed some neat clever pbuttes into dangerous play. is he not fit or fat or what, cos danny mills totally out sprinted him onto a loose ball that would have put HK through clear on goal in loads of space, he(HK) looked like he needed an inhaler after his poor effort anyway. Sissoko was relentless and gave the ball away a lot less than he did the other night, much better. Our defence was pretty solid(as per) and kept what has been a decent attacking team at bay. clean sheet says it all.

a word on cisse, who utterly failed to make decent contact with anything he was fed in the first half, very poor imo, he just doesn't look like £14m worth of footballer at all. further he was "shocked" to be subbed at 51(?) mins and left the field with a curt look on his kisser.

a good all round team display.. MOTM?

hard to say... gerrard or sissoko... hyypia was excellent in defence.

Darth Archer returns
Good on him. Lord Archer is a keen soccer fan. He will light a fire...
