Well, as you asked, received, but did not reply to any of the reasons I gave I have to buttume you are happy with the manager? Happy with is selections? Happy with his puchases? Happy with the results? Happy with the performances? Happy with his inertia in the CLC final? Happy with his ridiculous taunting comment prior to the Chelsea game which gave them so much extra incentive? Happy with his astute use of the transfer market where a last minute change of heart leaves the side short in a vital position for half the season? Happy that money still sits in the bank? Happy that the team will fly around the world in December whilst players from his closest rivals teams are getting as much rest as possible between matches? Happy that a Crouch type player was just what the club needed?
You are correct. I do not have the credentials to be the manager of a football club, but I have filled the post successfully and profitablly in other fields. Being the boss brings rewards, but it also brings ultimate responsibility. Bad luck does not wash. " He changed his mind at the last minute" carries no clout. It is just a failure to perform. Bad luck is seldom a valid excuse for a boss because it is his job to ensure that luck plays no part in his plans.
Raffa's constant pleas that " I know what the team needs" is starting to sound like a bit like an attempt to hold the critics off. Big deal! The whole world knows what the team needs. It begs the question, then why haven't you provided it? Understandable if these excuses came from a cash strapped new young manager of a minor club, but this is Liverpool FC for god sake!
