Hazy

I love the way it rolls. I've played guitar and been in bands for twenty years. but I haven't got the first idea of what is happening inside that song that moves me so much. That's why it's f***ing magic.

My favourite Head-related release is The Magical World of the Strands... Queen Matilda makes me feel giddy with its brilliance. HMS Fable is too over-produced for my liking. Some great songs, though. I've never heard Zilch, and need to get myself a copy of the most recent album.

You're right; they're great songs too. Especially Undecided. I wonder how much of that dizzy, dreamy sound is down to injection? Not that I'm about to do my own personal experiment.

There's a great band from Cardiff called The Soft-Hearted Scientists who are the missing link between Shack and the Beta Band. It's wordier than Shack's stuff, but it's very f***ing good.

I'll leave this up until the end of the weekend. It's the lead track from their debut EP, the Wendigo EP, which is on a label called My Kung Fu... they've got a compilation album coming out at the start of August featuring their three EP's so far. Anyway, I hope you like it even a tenth as much as I do.
