I am *loving* all the bitterness from certain people at our maginificent acheivement. It's the ones that grew up bitter and twisted watching our success. You know you're doing something right to provoke such reaction. They are *devastated* in Rafa's FIRST season we are within 90 mins of making it 5, knocking out ALL group winners on the way. Hell, the only goal conceded against Juve and Chelsea was a frigging keeper error. While the press and football fans are delighted to see Liverpool where they belong, the bitters are pooTING themselves. Why? Simple. They are right - it's a poor Liverpool team. This is the point. You don't make a European Cup Final through luck. Rafa has done it with an average squad, a squad that will hugely improve in the summer. He won 2 titles with unfancied Valencia, knocking Barcelona, Madrid and Deportivo off their perches. If he'd done it with Chelsea's money, it would be nowhere near the same acheivement. People who call it lucky (over a dozen games), know nothing of tactics and football. Or they are the ones psychologically damaged by Liverpool's relentless success in their youth and are programmed to downplay Liverpool, unable to recognise and praise the acheivement. Though for the mancs, this is what really hurts. This is why the likes of Monkey are suddenly posting a plenty. They've had nearly 15 years to close the gap. In one season under Rafa, the gap may still be what it always was. That is terrifying them. When he buys his players, that terror will only increase.
PS As for Wenger. FFS, he has *no* right to open his mouth. This is only the *second* English final appearance in 20 years, a true disgrace to those that consider themselves big clubs. PPS Moyes has been dignified over the 4th place issue and has earnt some respect.
