Nothing, which is precisely what I'm saying. if you want it for one, then be consistent and have it for all. Otherwise just live your life as normal and don't observe these pathetic sad rituals just to fill a gap in your own spiritually-retarded existence. You might well be shocked and aghast at our antics but believe me, I am 100 times more shocked that you lot, who feel such pain for one man, cannot raise yourselves to feel similar pain for a thousand times that number dying in REALLY tragic circumstances. I KNOW that I don't care much about kids dying in Africa -- if I did I'd be paralysed by it all. Therefore I go about my business and reserve my sympathy for cases where it is really necessary. But don't hold your breath: I'm not about to don sackcloth and ashes and start lamenting the rests of every f***er who's dying at this moment in time.
In that context it's even less likely I'm gonna sit here and "show respect" to **one** person who was far less deserving of sympathy than these kids
