Rubbish. Your points are not related to those I was mentioning. I don't resent their spending. Newcastle spend a lot, look where it gets them. I resent their arrogant and obnoxious, strutting attitude and their lack of any kind of public dignity. I mention Roman only because I see him going as the fastest route to Chelsea going out of business. I can't stand their flash harry fake rolex attitude. That's my point.

Plus which, they are not a credit to the top division. I won't bang on about a club supported by money derived from morally reprehensible sources, because I don't think Liverpool, as a city, got its wealth from only pure sources, ask those slaves over there. So we can all be objective.

However, there are some myths about Chelsea I would like to explode, or, at least, that I fervently disagree with.

'they are a bloody good side'. No they're not. They play tordry, boring and downright second rate football, most of the time, and rely on a moment of clbutt from one of their stars to nick a goal or two. Admitidly, once they get two up they can often go to town, as they showed against us, but I don't think they are a bloody good side, certainly not to watch, certainly not considering the players they have in their squad, and certainly not considering the amount of fuss everyone makes about them. With Duff, Roben, Crespo, Cole and the like, they should play attacking football that mirrors Barca's in its clbuttiness, but they don't. Morinho strictly instructs his full bakcs to seldom pbutt the half way line, and they represent us under Houllier more than a bloody good side. It's pragmatism over idealism, and it's bloody effective, and yes, they are very consistent, but I don't rate it, and reckon that, with that squad, they could do more going forward, and still be tight enough at the back to win every game. The mere fact that that pack mule Drogba gets picked ahead of Crespo, tells you everything that you need to know. I'd love to see Chelsea managed by Roy Evans!

Secondly, Morinho is a bloody good manager. Rubbish. Raffa is a bloody good manager, Morinho is a preening arsehole. And I don't buy all this 'he does it to deflect from his players' rubbish. Where was he when the world was calling for Essien to be hung as a violent bastard? I didn't see him doing much deflecting then, he was more than happy to let Essien take it on the chin. He's just a peacock, with the latter half being more appropriate. He's got the media and half the footballing public spellbound with his good looks and bizzarre personality, but I think he's more anus than genius.

I am objective, they suck. They will win the league, and probably the next, and maybe the one after that. But I do not think they are a wonderful side, and Morinho is not a wonderful manager, they just have an unrivalled total package of which these are two parts. They are efficient, pragmatic and ruthless, but they are also arrogant, conceited and cocky. I, for one, can't wait to see them stumble and fall, because, like united once, they've been pooty to everyone on the way up, so everyone will cue up to give them it all back on their way down. Or, at least, I will. And it's got nothing to do with money, they can spend as much as they like, let's get that clear. The whole 'it's all about the money' thing is a red herring. That's not why I hate them.
