Security experts are applauding a computer wallpaper that is claimed will prevent computers from being stolen. The originator of the wallpaper Mr Bernie Bolt explained, 'It's uncanny! I emailed the wallpaper to 100 people to get some reaction and it really works! Five of the people using it had their homes broken into and on each occasion the thieves took everything but the PC, the wallpaper seems to scare the thieves away.'
In addition to the test cases, there have been many other reported instances where the image has scared thieves away. A London businessman left his laptop in a pub in Edgeware Road and returned three days later to find it was still there, and in Birmingham a thief mugged a student and stole his laptop but returned it to Solihull police station within minutes; the thief was admitted to hospital later that evening suffering from severe shock.
Mr. Bolt is making his wallpaper image available to everyone as 'freeware', he explained, 'PC and laptop theft has got to be stopped. Luckily I've found something that will make thieves run a mile when they set eyes on the computer screen and I want to share it with everyone!'

Bernie The Bolt - 'In those days players weren't as highly paid as now, so most of us had part time jobs. Jimmy Case was a bouncer at the She Club, Tommy Smith used to open supermarkets as a Charles Bronson look-alike and Everton's Alan Ball and I were the voices of Pinky & Perky on TV.'
