So, let's cut to the chase. I said to Bernie if he was so confident Everton will end next season above Liverpool, let's bet on it. I am not a gambler, other than the odd one off with mates, which I do confess tends to be high amounts. I didn't take Bernie's circumstances into account, as I don't know one - but from his postings, he is indicates it is no problem. Great, so let's get it on. 1. You are concerned I may not have the means. I can allay this one if you care to meet me, or send another member of the group and I think you'll feel buttured by the car I drive etc. I am not boasting here, but I cannot think how else to put this objection to bed. Paying a grand isn't an issue, trust me.
2. I asked you to find a way we could do this. Seems like all day you have put up objections and not come up with a solution. I have checked betfair and cannot find any way it or anywhere else (I have asked a couple of colleagues) can facilitate the type of bet we want. So, I am offering a contract we both sign - if my barrister friend is no good, then fine - you provide a third party - I don't care. I would recommend the monies are paid at the end of the season rather than into a "pot", as there is no benefit to either of us. However, if this is the only way you'll proceed, then fine.
3. You've resorted to taking some comments out of context and trying to brand me a racist. Everyone sees through that pooe, so you may as well quit that one. Or pursue it, either way it's just another sign of you having lost the plot.
