Journalist: Who is the best English player?

George Best: Michael Owen.

Journalist: Who is the best number 7 in the history of English football?

George Best: I am.

Journalist: And after you?

George Best: Cantona without a doubt, the Frenchman was a genius.

Journalist: And after Cantona? Beckham?

George Best: NOOOO, After Cantona it was another great player, Bryan Robson.

Journalist: So, you're not an admirer of Beckham?

OT: Moyes the Coward
Wonder how long they will give him..... A lot longer I hope ! Moyes let the side down with cowardly approach By Roy Collins (Filed: 25-09-2005) How salary caps work...

George Best: I'm an admirer of all great players.

Journalist: So you're an admirer of Beckham?

George Best: Beckham is a good player, but not a great player. I've said it a thousand times, how can we consider a great player somebody that doesn't use his left foot, can't head the ball in, can't tackle and doesn't score many goals? Aside from this he's not bad.

Journalist: He's not bad?

George Best: He crosses well.

Journalist: He's loved all throughout England?

George Best: He's a loveual icon. Makes a lot of money, has tattoos all over his body, changes his hairstyle every month, wears gold earings everywhere, is married to an old pop singer. Maybe it's because of this he is so loved in England. David Beckham is a sort of Kournikova of football.

Journalist: Beckham does a lot of buttists.

George Best: Yes, but myself, Cantona, Robson did buttists as well difference is we scored goals. Beckham scores very few.

Journalist: Is there a player that reminds you of yourself?

George Best: Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Journalist: What are the similarities?

George Best: Almost all, he came here very young and shy, didn't pbutt the ball to his team mates and scored few goals and like I was he is trained by a tough Scottsman.

RAFA: LEGEND STEVIE SO CRUCIAL FOR THE REDS
Steve Hunter 25 September 2005 Rafael Benitez believes Steven Gerrard will be a key player for Liverpool against Chelsea and called his captain...

Journalist: Ronaldo's been here for 2 years, do you notice any evolution?

George Best: He's quite different. He's more mature, pbuttes the ball more often, scores more goals and buttists. He's very tall and plays exceptionally well with either foot something that we don't see enough of at the top level. He can play in either wing or in the small box, in 2 or 3 years he'll be the best player in the world.

Journalist: Why did you leave football at age 27?

George Best: Man Utd had won everything there was to win, a short time after that some players started to leave the club. Charlton and Law left the club so how could I stay in a club that had lost it's 2 biggest references as well as my 2 best friends?

Journalist: How many Miss Universe did you sleep with?

George Best: 3 but I'm working on my 4th, LOL.

It's a huge 4 page interview. I'll type more when I'm up for it.
