In my opinion, there are good and bad points for Chelsea having so much cash. First of all the bad points which are all highly publicised, such as instant dominance and no sign of that dominance ending, anti-competitive for the premiership, inflate transfer fees etc we've all heard it before, haven't we?

City are an estimated £60m in (they say structured of course) debt, and before Chelsea came along it would have taken 20 years to think about shifting that kind of debt, and suddenly they can take 5 or 6 years of that debt away by selling a single player who at the time had at the most 2 international caps.

Suddenly £500m (I dunno how much they've spent) is thrown into the football 'eco-system' overnight. People shouldn't be unpleasant womaning about their money in that respect.
Was Curbishley unpleasant womaning like he was in his interview with 5Live this week when Mr Abramovich came and put £12m in his hand for Scott Parker? No, probably not.
I don't like the fact that Chelsea have become good overnight as much as the next person, but it's unfair to say that there are no positives and it's all bad..........
