The general consensus is that SFX have put word out that Liverpool's new contract offer is "too little, too late" and that the player will not be re-entering into new contract negotiations with the club.
A new offer worth a staggering £100,000-a-week has been formally offered to the player via SFX who now believe they have Liverpool cornered. The Reds though remain confident that it is they who have the upper hand.
