Not so sure. He's signed up until 2007, therefore if he is going to go, it should be in the summer. If not then he should re-sign for another 3+ years and end the speculation once and for all.
We lack a consistent style. If you look at ManU, Chelski and Arse, they all play to a consistent and recognisable style. They have to vary their team due to injuries and weight of games (like us) but they have the players who are familiar enough with the game plan to know the system, and where they fit in to it. Also the quality of their players is such that they can play in a different position but still allow the team to play in the same effective manner. In 2000-1 we played a huge number of games but were able to compete on all fronts, while rotating and varying the team around a central spine. We were criticised for being predictable at the time, but we had a consistency that came from everyone knowing the system, and the results came from complete confidence that the system worked.

Rafa has not had a chance to put the new system together yet, and the players have not had sufficient time to become familiar with it
This can only come through time and the players gaining a deeper understanding of how Rafa wants us to play. It will come, but what I see are the teething pains producing wild swings in performances, plus the impact of injuries. What I also see is a clear indicator that not all of the squad will be ultimately up to the task as systems require individual self discipline to follow instructions, and strength of character that if you make a mistake, you fight for the team to recover the position
