Good post Dave.

Although with the addition of Ballack and 2 others, Chelsea will play better than they have this season. A big difference with a Championship winning side is that they can carve out a win even when they are playing badly. Chelsea have done that several times this season.

United will still try and get a replacement for Keen, but they have had a good return from their strikers this season, and Van der sar has been a great signing. They are still abit dodgy in defence, but the loss of Hienze cost them, and Vidic looks alright.

Arsenal haven't done too badly without Viera, but if they do lose Henry it will take a season or two for their young players to shine. There will probably be big clubs trying to lure Fabregas away too.

A striker or two and Mark Gonzalez will see Pool a lot more consistent, with Sissoko an outstatnding signing and Agger, Kronkamp both looking good. We will have to see what Rafa can come up with in the close season.

I think a lot rides on whether Spurs finish 4th to see just who they can attract in the summer. Kuyt or Kuijt looks like a promising signing if they can get him pre world cup.

Blackburn have had a great season, credit to Hughes even if he is an ex manc, but they need to keep hold of the likes of Bellamy and Pedersen.

Newcastle without the inspiration of Shearer will struggle, Roeder may keep the job. It will be interesting to see if Owen jumps ship after the world cup.
