Come on Parry, pull ya finger out!

A detailed report in the Mail on Sunday today states that Liverpool's debts are increasing, costs for the new stadium are spiralling out of control and there's still no sign of any investment.

The report says: 'Why are Liverpool having to cut their cloth accordingly when the Champions League triumph brought in almost £22million in prize money alone? That windfall means the accounts that the plc will unveil next month will make superficially good reading. Instead of last year's loss of just over £18million, there should be a decent profit. But a closer look at the balance sheet will reveal a disturbing increase in debt' - which is something I have been hinting about at www.koptalkinsider.com for some time.

I especially like to refer to the following comments made by Steve Morgan at the 2004 AGM which most fans overlooked.

GARCIA: I WANT TO KEEP TREATING THE FANS
Paul Eaton 01 November 2005 Luis Garcia has vowed to build on his man of the match display against West Ham at the weekend and help fire Liverpool into the knockout...

At the time Morgan said: "I would never break the confidentiality agreement but we know there is a lot more (to the figures announced) and people would be appalled if they knew the situation.

"There are mbuttively escalating costs of the stadium, the figures are nothing like what has been reported. The board should come clean and then people will know why I had to revise my offer."

I don't think it's necessary to dig out the quotes by the Thais when they expressed their concerns about the books when they checked them out. I have no way of checking out anything they may claim and I'm suspicious of their actions where as Steve Morgan is one of us.

The report in today's Mail on Sunday basically touches on the failed investment attempts by the Thais, L4 & Kraft plus of course Steve Morgan and tries to blacken Rick Parry if you read it carefully.

The wallet was in Dubai last week trying to attract investment but again, it hasn't been forthcoming as yet, much to the amazement of the club's financial advisors Hawkpoint.

Are Chelsea that good or the rest that bad
They are bloody good, lets not kid ourselves, but I have yet to see a side who were quite as good as their hype, and that includes great Pool sides from the past. They had...

The AGM will soon be with us so Mr Moores and his chief executive will be hoping that Liverpool can build on yesterday's Premier League win over West Ham or it could be curtains for both of them, or at the very least, one of them, but sadly, the wrong one may fall.

I'm privy to various confidential information and documents relating to the ongoings in the Liverpool boardroom and I understand that there is a divide which has remained as a result of the club missing out on Kraft's money (the primary investor of L4). I wouldn't go as far as to say that there's a huge difference of opinions, just one particular board member is quite outspoken and critical of the chief executive and the chairman.

Kenny Dalglish has unfinished business at Anfield and I remain confident that he will at some point, return to the club in a senior position. I doubt though that this will be as a member of L4 who pulled out of the running to invest in the club when told that the Reds would only deal with them on a minor investment basis and not the major one they were proposing. Dalglish though still harbours getting his foot in the board room and with the right support, I see it happening one day.

I remain of the opinion that something's just not right at Anfield. Dragging up reasons - which are ultimately just my opinions - will only see me criticised so I'll leave it to the press and with a bit of a luck, the likes of Morgan who has the balls to stand up to the club's big cheese. I'm not saying that I would have accepted any of Morgan's previous offers but I do accept that he knows a lot more than he can let on which must be very frustrating for him.
