With the implication that Rafa couldn't sign anyone even with a shed load of cash burning a hole in his pocket.
My point was that Rafa was not going to buy players at a price higher than *his* valuation. Note that's the *managers* valuation. So you asking whether Crouch was worth £7M was an attempt at obfuscation.
