Who gives a f*** about what other people think Crouch is worth? It is *irrelevant*. Rafa bought him for £7M and reckons he paid a fair price. You, and the numerous other koppites, may think "the lanky streak of piss" is not worth anything remotely close to that but as you have just said "that is determined by the negotiations between selling club and buying club". So why the f*** are you banging on about "perceived" values. It is *irrelevant*.
Which is why I said "It is the manager who has the final word in whether to buy a player". What exactly are you disagreeing with? *sheesh* And you say I'm the thick one.
Blimey, You are losing your cool! Heh Heh.
so when you said
"What good is money when your manager can't sign anyone?"
You now admit you were talking through your arse?
Chalk it up!
Riiiiight. So they *chose* not to buy more players because the prices quoted was too high.
Quality? Why didn't they play tonight and prevent God's team from getting a good kicking? Oh. They did. Never mind.
No poo sherlock. Why though? Was it because the *manager* thought the valuation placed on the player(s) was too high. So Rafa *chose* not to buy them.
Ah, a nice change from stupid. Thought you were developing a "stupid" stutter for a moment there.
Right Let's recap;
This whole sub-thread started with you saying
"What good is money when your manager can't sign anyone?" "LOL"
With the implication that Rafa couldn't sign anyone even with a shed load of cash burning a hole in his pocket.
My point was that Rafa was not going to buy players at a price higher than *his* valuation. Note that's the *managers* valuation. So you asking whether Crouch was worth £7M was an attempt at obfuscation.
To quote you;
"Have you go it now thicko?"
And with that I shall bid you farewell and end my contribution to this thread.
Chalk it up !
