Should Moores step down
It's easy to look at the current off-pitch situation and wonder what's going on with such things as the stadium, outside investment...

First half wasn't much to write home about, Boro defended deep, Liverpool went at them cautiously for the first 30 minutes. With 25 minutes gone Liverpool stepped up the tempo and they tested the water pretty good but it was 30 minutes gone before they decided to have a crack at full blast....................and the increased tempo really exposed boro.

Since Liverpool stepped up the tempo we look so much better and boro look a bit lost, McClaren was going nuts with his team.

Boro start the 2nd half the better and should of taken the lead, a great move by boro ends with Viduka shooting poorly but Reina is excellent and saves with is legs, credit goes to the keeper for preserving the status quo.

The chance seems to of awaken the Liverpool team, they have burst into life and decided to go at Boro at pace. After several startchy chances Liverpool finally take the lead.........

A really well worked moves finds Alonso with his marker MIA, the ball is delivered and Fernando controls and delivers.

1-0

Boro almost equalize, and they really should of, a weak finish to a good move for Boro, i'm in no doubt it should of been 1-1.

As we are contemplating a Boro comeback the ball is played long, it is caught oin the head of a boro player and goes straight to Morientes who calmly lobs the boro keeper.

2-0

Riggot butchers Gerrard, he is sent off, he didn't leave the ref much choice.

We go second. Todays performance wasn't our best, we need to play at a high tempo all game, that really is where we have been at our best.
