MF need to play to the strengths of our strikers

Someones NETCOPPED The Pope
LOL Here's an excerpt from a recent post from the man himself the infamous POPE, wondering who grbutted him up, unfortunately he Pope thinks he knows who the guilty party is..... Bloody hilarious, so...

Crouch doesn't seem to be a good attacking header of the ball, something I am sure he is working on, but when it comes to being a 'front target man' he is laying off the ball well, not having Cisse-Morientes pouncing on the layoff is the problem (not on the same wavelength? I'm sure Fowler would appreciate playing alongside Crouch) He can also hold the ball well and as a lone front man he adds another dimension to the team that we did not have and it is the right role for him.

My sentiments too, whoever partners Crouch needs to be close to him, whether taking advantage of his flick ons or using him as a decoy for fast crosses, we need 2 front men.

I wouldn't go that far our leading scorer is a midfielder on paper their stats aren't good... I certainly won't cry if Cisse and-or Morientes go in the summer.

What are Morientes & Cisses strengths? Cisse has pace but no finishing finesse nor positional awareness (i.e. goal poaching: right place right time) Morientes can attack an aeriel ball but has shown little of what he is capable of (from when he was playing in Spain).

I hope Rafa plays him as an out and out CF partnering Crouch (yes, we need depth of squad and rotation is good, especially this month!!) but we need to start scoring and boost confidence at the front, get a working combination first then add to it later. This does mean playing to their strengths and Robbie's strength is in front of goal.

Ronald KowMan's deconstruction of Benfica
Lucky Devin 7 goals in 3. Yes but Kow-Man is like a kid with a new toy, every time he...
