Another thread descends into a witless slanging match with no actual relevance what so ever. The number of threads that start off as a promising discussion but rapidly descend into useless troll food is astounding compared to other newsgroups. When will people learn that if you ignore something then it eventually goes away?
The trolls in here are extremely successful in killing off good threads with just a simple one-liner which baits certain individuals and the thread is subsequently hijacked by the childish tit-for-tat. This is actually what the troll intended in the first place and replying just starts a never-ending stream of drivel with no relevance to the original post at all.
The way to stop this is simply to stop feeding the trolls. Other newsgroups who have been around for far less time than this one have learnt this fact so why have we not? Just ignore the posts in questions and watch how long it takes for the trolls to disappear. They will eventually get bored and move on, however they will increase thier efforts before they do as a cornered animal usually does but our resolve must be stronger and in the end we will prevail and intelligent discussions about LFC will once more be the majority in here.
