Why would I try and have a decent point with someone who beleives that his club well be up there again because they were once the best club in England. I admire your optimism however detached from realtity that it is. So lets look at how teams have managed to win the EPL. Man. U. cash and a good crop of youth players; Arsenal some cash and some good player transfers; Blackburn cash; Chelsea cash. Now you may have been the best club in England but you are spending all the money you have just to stay were you are and let's face it RB is hardly setting the world a light with his transfer dealings. So indulge me and explain why you seem to think you will be up there again in say the next 5-10 years. The only possible options I can see are a rich benefactor, a major expansion of brand Liverpool, the collaspe of Chelsea, Man. U. and Arsenal or you invent a time machine i.e. you need the cash. Now you history may help you to achieve the first two but ultimately it comes down to money so stop going on about your rich history as though it some how entitles you to be a 'big' club. You would be better off looking forward to the future and stop dwelling on the glory days.
