I agree. Chelsea and Barcelona were the 2 best teams last year, Chelsea last year was better than it is now and Barcelona is better now than last year.

I agree that it's arguable but I'll take Porto. Porto had a bit of a dip in form in the early months of 2004 but by the last month of the CL they were the best team in the world.

They weren't as bad as Milan was for 45 minutes and that was enough to win that game, that's the only fair buttesment in my book. They are the 04-05 CL winners but they weren't the best team in the world by any measure and RB wasn't the best Manager in the world either.
I thought Liverpool last year was quite poor for most of the season but any team that concedes 3 goals as swiftly as Milan did did not deserve to win it. I'm pro Milan but I'm glad they did not win after that.
Benfica beat Liverpool twice yet we all know they aren't a superior squad just like we know Liverpool squad wasn't superior to Milan's.
