not sure that all is well and good tbh but I don't think the board will go mad and turn us into Leeds MKII. however, you never know!!
well i'm pretty sure that Kuyt for eg, was bought with monies that would be forthcoming if we qualified for the CL group stages... so......... i mean look at the way player transfer payments are staggered to offset the mbuttive cost of purchasing. It's all on tick!
somewhere..........
to move it on a bit then, what we all seek is progress, that's what you're saying you observe in the fiscal state for EFC, it's what we observe in the on field matters for LFC. the moyes yo-yo effect must be disarming because it defies any sense of progress so like rafa, until he puts two or three seasons together that either maintain a position or improve on it, true progress (if any) is hard to measure. Cup wins are one thing, 38 games worth of consistency is another, you have to be doing something right however to win the more prestigious cup competitions.
I expect LFC to maintain or better their position in the league from last season, that's the minimum AFAIAC.
