You know what I think? I think you've seen others getting lambasted on here for bringing up Heysel and thought anyone mentioning it is fair game for a bit of slagging off. The mistake you've made is failing to see the difference between the knobheads who come on here with taunts of 'liquidateing bastards' and my post which was nothing of the sort.
I don't expect Liverpool fans to go around for the rest of their lives self-flagellating themselves because of Heysel, however when a Liverpool fan after a night of European football tries to make a joke because another team got beat and uses phrases like 'Never has such a team let the entire nation down' and 'may they hang their heads in shame' quite frankly it just isn't funny.
I know all he was trying to do was wind us up, but considering the team he supports his choice of phrases were far from 'politically correct' and I would wager that if his comments were re-posted on a Juventus NG people would be quite rightly disgusted.
I fear however that you'll fail to comprehend the gist of this post so I'm probably wasting my time writing it. You no doubt are one of the 12 years olds who visit this NG that a Liverpool fan mentioned earlier in this thread.
