United have hit a rough patch. How easily you forget that team kicked our butt at the end of last season in the FA Cup. We were able to keep the ball out of the Net and win in the penalty session.
More to the point, you forget our recent woes. We've had some injuries, and we haven't been the normal team in the premiership.
We've done really well in the champions league. But at the same time we had a very fortunate draw with our group, and nobody would argue that we've got easier competition then Chelsea and United have in their groups.
Not to take away what from we've done this season. In past seasons, we've tened to play down to the competition. This year, we've found the way to win in Europe even if we haven't been at our best.
But we've got to get through the first and second round of the last stage, to prove we've made the step.
I'm sure Utd will put together a fairly competent team of shin-kickers and horse-faced divers, to make a fairly competitive match against us.
