The Ferrari Formula 1 Team sacked its entire pit crew yesterday. The announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the UK Government's Youth Opportunity Scheme...

It does not quite work that way. If Tesco cannot be charged over the racist remarks of one of their customers, how can any other organisation be penalised for the same thing by a body such as FIFA? It would not be legal under the real laws which supersede any rules of a sporting body.

The "rules" about players contracts were in place and accepted for decades until George Eastham, the Arsenal player, disputed their legality in court, and won, bringing in mbuttive changes to the transfer system. Likewise, the Bosnian.

Most often, rules which we accept either as purchasers, members, employees etc, verbal or agreed and signed to, do not sign away our rights under the statutory laws, and if such agreements are not legal they cannot be imposed.

The situation where FIFA rules, carried out by the English Football League, put them in the position of saying to Liverpool, "you are being docked 3 pts because of several charges of racist chants, even though it means you do not qualify for next years CL" can you imagine the reaction?

A court case would be a farce for the League facing a defence of "prove our responsibility" It is so ridiculous that it would never get that far if the League took legal advice.

Typical FIFA cobblers.....meaningless nonsense.
