You can't sum it up any better than that, Baros just isn't the future. Cisse and Morentes could be a nice partnership. Get rid of Baros in the summer along with other dead wood.
I like the "wind him up and point him in the direction of the goal", this just about seals it with the fact he cannot take players on.
The touch and control of some players is shocking too. For a team who always prided itself on pbutting ability and overall control of a game, some of these players we have now haven't got a clue. Traore reminds me of a new born giraffe at times, although to be fair he has made a few important tackles this season but that aint enough in his overall team play.

I see pbuttes being "thundered" around a pitch with the recipient usually being taken by surprise, bad first touch, opposition gets ball! This happens over and over again in games and really should be sorted. with pbutting ability should come movement. I've seen better movements down my toilet this season!
Going back to the Southampton game, I noticed how uneasy we were on the ball. Very nervous approach to a game that on paper we should have won. That has to be the worst performance of the season IMO. We spent the game running around like headless chickens, chasing shadows and again, no control whatsoever.
Riise is one of the exceptions this season and next to Jamie has my vote for LFC player of the season, or most improved. Gerrard *has* had a good season but a little too inconsistent, just like the rest of the team.
Could go on for ever but gotta go shopping now. ..........like we should in the summer and have a bargain basement sale to let Benitez build "his" team ....TBC.
