Exactly! By the rules in place you were not entitled to a place, you failed to qualify and your place was awarded to you as a gift. I'm glad we agree on that.

S'funny... I seem to remember Barca celebrating with the European Cup, I guess that means that at the end of both our European campaigns there was no trophy won by *either* team, what a shame that you are only to remember that EFC didn't win a trophy. Do you have selective memory or are you just stupid.

I can fully understand why you want to focus on the fact that you lasted longer in the competition rather than actual performances, if my team had been beaten 2-0 at home by the worst team in the competition I'd want to forget it also. Unfortunately the record books are there for all to see, and even though for the first time in Champions League history, UEFA gave a place to a club that had been too sh*te to qualify, you embarrbuttingly were beaten both home and away by the worst rated team left in the competition. I doubt very much if UEFA will bow to bleating and do that again!
