I have a repayment mortgage, of several lenders I met(during the great endowment rush) with only ONE suggested I go for repayment over endowment, the others were rather keen to pull the wool over my eyes and sell me an endowment policy. Guess what? I thought......." f*** me what if the growth of the endowment is not what they say it will be"........... genius, I opted for the repayment.
