If it was that simple, why wouldn't homeless people simply sign up for it? Housing benefit is a laugh, it takes 2-4 weeks on average to come through. I should know, I have a certain percent of my rent paid.

What do you do whilst waiting for it to come through? As it says in all council offices "it is your responsibility to pay the rent whilst your claim is being processed". So what does john doe do in mean time when he has nothing?

Well my point exactly. You say Africa is exploited. If 8 different credit card companies agreed to give you that many cards, isn't that them being irresponsible and exploiting of the common person?

Shouldn't they check how many cards and what limits you have? Yes they should. Can they do it? yes they can. Why don't they do it? they want you to get into debt and only be able to pay them the interest, which BTW is where they make money.

Now they don't have a decent sanitation and care system, why do they carry on to over stretch the sanitation and health care capabilities?

By having large numbers of children they are damaging each others future. If they didn't have such a large population the systems in place might be able to cope.

There's a contradiction. You said when the system was working, people chose to have more family. In this statement you are saying, that now its poor and chance of rest is high. They have more children to increase the odds of survival. Surely if the health care system was good and the rest rates were low they wouldn't have to "increase the odds" by having more children.

China could of been like Africa but they put a stop to the over population by saying 1 child per family, and we will help you in life any more you won't get as help. Why many people might say this is wrong it is a case of "be cruel to be kind" and its worked.

LMAO I already do voluntary work, at my local psda.If I had more time I would help out at a local shelter. I do how ever donate £10 a month to this charity already. It might not seem allot but its all I can afford still all said and done its probably £10 a year more than most people better off than me donate full stop. so yes I have a understanding of what homeless people go through and die off.

Diarrhoea, flu, pneumonia is just a small selection. So how many homeless people die of disease that is easily cured? now who is being ignorant to some of the facts?

Steven I think you should try homeless for 12 months and see how many times you come close to rest because of 1 of those 3 diseases. As you reckon it's sod all what's the harm?
