Thst wasn't his "logical conclusion" at all. It was bullpoo written by you because you din't like hearing that he likes watching Barcelona, rightly thinks that you weren't the "best side in Europe" and decided to state it.
The "logical conclusion" I have made is that you are rather dim.
"Cup" competitions, by their very nature, are 'knockout' competitions. It only takes a poor 45 minutes from even the best side in the world to see them depart the competition.
In an effort to cut this down a little, Uefa decided to turn the European Cup into a "part league" competition. This works to a certain degree, but managers are learning how to combat it. Look at Porto, look at Liverpool. Neither side could ever claim to be the best side in Europe, but they won a cup competition through tactics and, in the case of last seasons final, large amounts of luck.
Well done though. Use the rules to your advantage and have lady luck on your side and anything is possible.
Oh and Barcelona are the best team in Europe at the moment by a f***ing mile.
