Gross Obscene Racism of English Everton Fans Towards Dinamo and Romanians
On the official website of English Football club Everton FC, fans expressed their cowardly dissatisfaction of the shameful 5-1 defeat to Dinamo Bucharest by posting disgustingly racist comments. Romanians are referred to as ŇHUNGRY, DIRTY, ORPHAN GIPSIESÓ.
Racism has been an UEFA hot topic recently with exclusively Eastern European clubs (CSKA Sofia, Steaua Bucharest) being punished for fansŐ behaviour. UEFA, a Western European entity, has refused to punish or condemn clubs such as Everton who have had transgressions much graver than their Eastern European counterparts. CSKA has been fined, while Steaus has been also fined and forced to play their home games in the beach town of Constanta instead in their home town of Bucharest.
While Dinamo is refusing to officially bring to UEFAŐs attention EvertonŐs clbuttlessness, Western clubs would have not hesitated, looking to capitalize on every single opportunity to undermine Eastern European football. (As Shelbourne did, AFTER losing to Steaua in Champions League qualifying). Furthermore, Everton officials have refused to take down the comments or take any action to address the racism of Everton's fans.
This incident, along with the poor performance of Premiere League clubs, and very poor performance of the English national squad, further point towards the decline of English football as a whole. Racism, not football, are what the English seem increasingly good at.
