OTmobile scam mystery

my name has been registered to two (t-mobile) sim cards and my credit card debited with 3 transactions of £30, £55 and £30 (one minute apart) on the 17 and 22nd of June respectively.

T-Mobile are at a bit of a loss to explain this other than it's a fraudulent registering of these phones-sim cards, all monies will be refunded to my account (inc interest) , eventually

explanantions are reaching conspiracy theory level as, for eg, to credit these phones with call time the security number (only known to me) would have to be used so that points to an in-shop or internet-purchase "insider" fraud, which is possible having used the card for plenty of net transactions and every day purchases, petrol etc.... fortunately and coincidentally the credit card is just about to expire and a new security number is issued with the replacement.

The credit has reached the phones and I have spoken to one "owner" (in London) who reckons he hasn't had his phone credited with these amounts but seems to be getting confused about the whole situation and hasn't fully explained how he came by the sim cards.

The phone service (ie sim card-mobile numbers registered with wrong and different D.O.B's) will be blocked by T-Mobile, their fraud dept will be contacting me and i've been advised to inform the police.

explanations?
