Stevie G keen for Gonzalez arrival
Steven Gerrard can't wait for Chilean winger Mark Gonzalez to arrive at Liverpool. Gerrard believes the highly-rated player - nicknamed Speedy because of his electric pace - will fit perfectly into the Anfield system...

The term 'special' is as meaningless as scrotex's original post, opinions vary and hence there can never be a definitive answer. Most people would probably agree that the Brazil team that won the 1970 World Cup were special, the Real Madrid team that won the European cup 5 times on the run in the late 50s were also special and the Ajax team that won it 3 times in the 70s also, there are probably a couple of other teams that wouldn't cause too much argument if they were included, but after that opinion will always be divided.

However I think most people would agree that the Villa team that won the European cup *weren't* special, and even though Forest at the time had a good team, few people outside Nottingham would dare compare them with the likes of Real Madrid and Ajax.

who said that only 'special' teams win the Champions League is talking happened last year, we only have to look at the previous year when Porto won it to realise what an idiotic statement the original poster made, however it was scrotex so what do you expect!
